Right now, I'm in the hospital ICU clearing some blood clots in my left
leg, and the only book around is the one I've been trying to get into:
Neil Stephenson's Anathem.

Funny, I was about to start Chapter 2, which begins on page 55. So,
Page 56, fifth sentence:

    But to announce auts and other events, our team of ringers
